Aluminium alloy 6463 is a medium strength alloy. Often referred to as a decorative alloy and can be chemically brightened to enhance this use.
Aluminium alloy 6463 is typically used in commercial and is highly suitable for anodising and polishing, or brightening. This makes it suitable for retail applications like shop fittings and trims. Also for domestic environments like kitchens and bathrooms.
The property of being abel to be highly polished also makes it suitable for automotive trims.
Aerospace materials are covered by the āLā series of British standards.
