A corrosion protective coating is applied to the bare aluminium either before painting, or as a standalone finish.
It has good electrical conductive properties, but it is not a hard coating so care should be taken if it is not over painted.
This is an environmentally safe, chrome-free alternative to alocroming, specifically for aluminium alloys.
It applies a highly corrosion resistant coating either as a stand alone finish, or ideally suited to be over painted. Like alocroming, the finish is not a hard coating.
Iridite NCP is ROHS compliant, unlike some Alocroming finishes.
