Capalex are experts in machining Aluminium in almost any form.

As well as machining extrusions produced in-house we will machine your free issue extrusion, plate or bar to a very high standard.

Our comprehensively equipped machine shop has a range of HAAS CNC vertical machining centres with 4th axis capability and capable of machining dimensions up to 2134mm long x 1016mm Wide and 720mm tall.

Our Elumatec profile machining centre can handle work up to 7600mm long.

Other equipment includes:

• HAAS CNC lathe with capacity 533mm long x 305mm diameter.
• Automatic feed, mitre and crosscut saws
• Multihead punching facility
• Deburring machines
• Fast Tap Machine

Punching

Aluminium extrusions can be punched efficiently where the volume of work required justifies punch tooling cost. Capalex has a multi headed punching facility suitable for a broad range of extrusion profile sizes and lengths.

Capabilities:

Deburring

Burrs created during the sawing and machining processes can be removed using various methods with mechanical brushing or tumbling generally preferred processes.

2 x Rasamat 2001 Deburring Machine
