Aluminium alloy 6061 is a high / medium strength commercial alloy. It offers a range of good mechanical properties and good corrosion resistance.
Applications
Aluminium alloy 6061 applications are wide ranging, including shop building and aerospace applications.
Aerospace materials are covered by the ‘L’ series of British standards.
