6082 Alloy Data Sheet

Introduction

Aluminium alloy 6082 is a high strength structural alloy, the highest strength of the 6000 alloys, most commonly used for machining. Generally not suitable for anodizing.

Applications

Alloy 6082 can be typically seen in transport, scaffolding, Bridges and general engineering due to its high strength./p>

Aerospace materials are covered by the ā€˜Lā€™ series of British standards.
